I’ve always kept it pretty simple when it comes to wearing jewelry, but recently I’ve been looking to add to my collection. Nothing fancy, just a little costume jewelry. I always feel just a little bit better about myself when I wear earrings, so I’ve been looking to add some bracelets and other accessories to my very limited collection. In the package I received one of their customizable snap bracelets, and a set of snap buttons. While I know snap jewelry has been around for a bit, I have never personally owned any so I was intrigued at the idea of trying it out.
The bracelet is beautiful! The designs on the bracelet are just really pretty and they’re pretty intricate. This bracelet currently retails for $6.98 on Amazon and to be honest with the detail and quality put into the design I would expect a much higher price point. The clasp is actually magnetic, which makes it super easy to take on and off. I generally have to ask my husband to close the clasps on bracelets for me, but with this magnetic clasp I can do it myself.

Now, let’s get to what makes this bracelet really special. The middle of the bracelet is actually a snap/button and you can buy several different snaps to place in the center to customize the bracelet to match your mood, your outfit, or pretty much anything you want. HelloCrafts has several different snap bundles you can purchase, but the one they sent me was a set of 6 and these snaps currently retails for $7.97 on Amazon. I can use each different snap to create a new look; so I really end up with 6 different bracelet options!

I have naturally curly
hair, which I love but I’ve always been jealous of those girls with amazing
super straight hair. I’ve used a ton of
different straighteners and hair products, and can’t ever seem to get the same
results. When I was given the

Did you know that the

wrong and with the corrections made I’ve actually been able to curl my hair

You can set the temperature
anywhere from 175 to 450. My preferred
setting is 430, but I have super thick curly hair, and I can get away with a
much lower temperature on my daughter’s hair.
I love the cord on this
as well, it’s really long so it makes it a lot easier to use when straightening
my daughter’s hair and even my own.

cool to a 9 year old” series….but this is definitely a “something for the whole
family” post too!
My
daughter is absolutely obsessed with Five Night’s at Freddy’s (FNAF. This is a game that’s hugely popular, so
popular they are now coming out with a movie!
She has been dying to get a FNAF t-shirt and with school coming up I
figured I could go ahead and get her one.
Of course you can’t just walk into any store and buy one of these shirts;
they’re definitely a specialty shirt!
I’ve
found an absolutely uhhhh-mazing website to purchase not only her FNAF shirt,
but so many cool shirts for the whole family.

even know where to start! Ok, I lied I guess let’s start with the FNAF shirt I
bought my daughter. She was so excited

I was
really impressed with the quality of the shirt too. The shirt is a nice thick cotton fabric. It’s
not super thin or flimsy. There may be a
little shrinkage, but that’s pretty common with cotton shirts like this so take
that into consideration when ordering. I
was really impressed with the design.
Sometimes you get screen printed shirts like this and the screen
printing isn’t always the best quality and the design only continues to
deteriorate over time. I didn’t notice
any issues with the design on this shirt, and the colors are super bright and
brilliant.

So, I took an unplanned hiatus for a week or so...it seems like my to-do list just gets longer and longer and one of those many things was checking out the Tools 4 Wisdom Planner. Once I had the time to sit down and really look at this planner I realized this is totally what I need in my life right now!
I’ve used planners for the past few years, it’s the only way
I can keep track of my ever growing to-do list and important dates; but I’m not
sure I’ve ever had a planner like this. While
this planner is still great for keeping track of every day to-do items and
important dates, it is so much more than that.
Let’s
start with my initial impressions from when I received the planner. The weight
of the planner really surprised me. It’s not “Omigod this thing is so heavy how
do you expect me to carry it around” heavy, but it definitely more impressive
in weight than the planner it is replacing.
The cover is an interesting abstract design, but if that’s not your
thing I believe they have 3 or 4 different designs to choose from.
As soon
as you open the cover you’ll realize that the focus of this planner is to help
you plan, set, and achieve your goals. The first section of the binder is
designed to help you figure out your areas of focus for your goals, as well as
how to achieve those goals. There are
plenty of pages so you can adjust your goals as needed throughout the
year. I personally have never used a
planner in this capacity before so I’m kind of excited to see how this can help
me achieve my goals!
Each
Month has its own tab and the tab starts with your monthly goals and how you
plan to achieve them. The rest of the
month consists of each day with a line from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. for scheduling
out your day. You can also list out your
priorities and idea’s by day/week. There is also a monthly priorities master
list.
There
is a tab for notes and ideas which is nice as I often jot down notes in my
planner’s but then have to flip back through to find where I put those notes! You’ll also receive a coupon code for free
access to over 77 printables from Tools4Wisdom. I downloaded them and there are
some great extra tools to help you focus on your goals.

Overall,
I think this is a great tool to really help you make short term and long term
goals and to really help you track those goals.
It’s also a great appointment book.
The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of is the lack of space to keep track
of my daily to-do items. I think I would
use this in addition to the planner I currently have, but focus this more
towards setting those long term goals and tracking them with the planner. It would be awesome to see a future planner
have a section for each day to list to-do items, as then this would literally
be the perfect planner to meet all of my needs.

I love love home décor…but I’m not very good at it. I have a ton of great ideas but they never quite work out the way I envision them.
We recently got a new (to us) kitchen table that is just dying for a centerpiece, but I’ve been totally stuck on what to do for it. I want it to be cute, but not cluttered. I also want to incorporate red and teal as that’s my color scheme for my kitchen. I recently got these super cute bright LED flameless candles that I thought would be perfect to incorporate with my kitchen table centerpiece. I love these little candles, they look so cute and I like the fact that they’re kid friendly and totally safe to use.
So I came up with two different ideas. These are pretty basic and I’m not sure how to really expand on them. I like this idea but it definitely needs more and I’m a little stuck. Of the two, this is my favorite one. I was thinking I could get 2 more vases, and do one with red beads and one with teal beads and mix up the ribbons.
The flameless candles come in a box of 11, and you actually get pink and red flower petals with it. Whether I end up sticking with these centerpieces or going a different way, I love having these candles handy. We live in the Midwest and power outages are far more frequent than I like and these are great for summer power outages. We have candles, but when it’s already 90 degrees outside, the last thing you want to do is add more heat! I was a little skeptical when I got the Dash Mate. It is tiny. Like fit in your pocket, weighs an ounce tiny. No way was this little thing going to hold my phone securely….with an air vent no less! I have a Samsung S5, so it’s not a little phone, but somehow this thing totally works. I've been using the dash mount for the past two weeks and my phone has only fallen once and that was a user error. Now, I don’t have any facts or statistics to back this up but a friend of mine that happens to be a cop once told me that having a permanent dash mount, or even the ring some mounts create on your window is like a big red X for would be thieves to break into your car. For this very reason I have never owned a dash mount, plus I think the big clunky ones that sit on the dash or attach to your windshield are kinda ugly. This is probably my favorite part about the dash mount. It leaves no trace; when you aren't using the dash mate it’s tiny enough to stick in your purse, your console, etc….
We all know that talking or texting while driving is dangerous, but how many times have you been driving and your phone goes off and you look down to see who’s texting or calling you? I do it A.L.L the time and to be totally honest I never even thought about it, until I was able to stop doing it. We all know how dangerous it can be to take your eyes off the road when driving for even a second. I’m ashamed to admit that I’m a huge culprit of being a distracted driver. My phone goes off A LOT and I always have to look because what if it’s important right??? With the Dash Mate my phone is literally in front of my face without me having to take my eyes off the road. Or how often have you taken your eyes off the road to check on your kiddo in the back seat?? I can turn the camera on and be able to see exactly what my kiddo is doing in the back seat!
